Brake Flash Module 2017 Triumph Scrambler Safety plug and play.
10 years ago a good friend of mine was rear ended and killed by a distracted driver. He claim that he dont see the motorcycle. This is the reason why I make this module. I have motorcycles too and is a peace of mind to know that with this device you have more changes that a driver behind you is going to see you.
We have this module also for any motorcycles. May require cut some wires.
This module is full plug and play made for Triumph Scrambler 2017 and come with a 1157 Red Led Bulb. Replace the bulb and check the properly funtion of the light before install the module.
The module has 5 funtions.
1º Function; Stock.
2º Function; Will flash 4 times when the brake is press and stay bright until is release.
3º Function; Will flash 4 times when the brake is press staying bright for 5 sec and flash 4 times again and go on until the brake is release.
4º Function; Will flash 4 times when the brake is press it will stay bright for 5 seconds and it will flash 4 times again and go on until the brake is release. Will flash 4 times each 5 sec without press the brake.
5º Function; Will flash 4 times when the brake is press it will stay bright for 1 second and it will flash 4 times again and go on until the brake is release. Will flash 4 times each 1 sec without press the brake.
You will get the module in 4º because I think is the safe funtion to use when riding.
I make the 5º to be used when riding on bad or dark road conditions.
To change the funtions you have to turn on the motorcycle and press the brake 10 times in 5 seconds or less. It may be difficult to obtain the change of funtion. be patient. When the module read the 10 times it will turn off the Led and will flash the times of the funtion 1 flash funtion 1 etc. I make the module that way to avoid the use of any external switch.
To change the bulb take 2 phillips screw out of the tail light.
To get access to the rear lights harness you have to take 2 allen screws under the seat.
You will find the black 6 pin connector under the seat.
Disconnect it and plug the module in each side of it.
